The performance of acoustic rubber matting depends heavily on correct floating floor installation. The concrete subfloor must be flat, clean and dry. Lay rolls of acoustic matting for floors with tightly joined seams; avoid bridging the mat to walls, columns or penetrations to eliminate flanking sound paths.
