MDF indoor acoustic slat wall panel
With the MDF indoor acoustic slat wall panel range of ready-made acoustic wood panelling you can turn any wall into a work of art. All of our slat wall panels are made from carefully selected modern grade wood veneers for their consistency and properties, and are hand cut and oiled in our factory in China.
As each panel is pre-glued to a tough recycled felt backing, the MDF indoor acoustic slat wall panel guarantees unrivalled soundproofing. All panels are 60cm wide and long, exactly the same size as a standard Chinese ceiling. All that is left to do is trim to fit the space and screw directly into the wall.
How to install the MDF indoor acoustic slat wall panel
1. Glue directly to the wall It is recommended to use construction glue or grab adhesive.
2. Screw directly into the wall The panels can be screwed directly into the wall through the acoustic felt using either black screws (black backing option) or silver or grey screws (grey backing option). We recommend installing at least 9 screws per panel, spaced 200mm apart in width and 800mm apart in length. If mounting on the ceiling, make sure they are screwed into the ceiling joists. If you are installing plasterboard, for example, make sure you use the correct fixings.
3. Screw the panels into the 45mm wooden bars We recommend screwing the 45mm wooden bars into the wall and then screwing the panels directly into the bars through the sound insulation felt for the best sound absorption. Combined with the rockwool insulation behind the panels between the bars, this will achieve Class A sound absorption.
