How to install wooden timber MDF panel
There are three different options for installing wooden timber MDF panel:
1.Gluing straight onto the wall(Aconstruction qlue or grab adhesive is recommendedfor this.
2.Screwing directly into the wall
Using black screws forthe black backingoption orsilver or arevscrews for the grey backina. the wooden timber MDF panel can be screwed directlv into the wall through theacoustic felt
werecommendaminimumof9 screwsperpanelat3.15"intervals across the width and 24"intervals downthe lenath of the panel Ifinstalling into ceilings. make sure thev are screwedinto ceiling joists
Please make surethe correctfixings are used if goinginto plasterboard, for example
3. Screwing the panels into 1.8" timber battens
we recommend screwing1.8"timber batons to the walland then screwing the wooden timber MDF panel directly into the batonsthrough the acoustic felt to achieve optimum soundabsorption.
Combined withRockwool behindthe panelsbetweenthe batons.this will achieve Class A sound absorption
