Installation Instructions

1. The lap joints of double-leaf soundproof doors should be made into double L-shaped seams. In the middle of the lap joint, a sponge rubber strip should be set. When the door leaf is closed, the sponge rubber strips will be squeezed tightly on both sides of the lap joint. A gap of 2mm wide should be left between the door leaves. The wood at the joint should not be in direct contact with the wood.

2. The soundproof door should be wrapped with artificial leather. A acoustic cotton blanket should be filled between the artificial leather and the wooden door leaf. The double-layer artificial leather beading should be used to regularly press the surface of the door leaf then nail it with foam nails. The surface of the artificial leather should be tight and flat.

3. A 5mm wide gap should be left between the bottom of the soundproof door leaf and the ground and then a 3mm thick rubber strip should be nailed to the lower part of the door leaf with a long flat iron. The rubber strip at the contact with the ground should be extended by 5mm to close the door leaf.
