Suspended Acoustic Ceiling Baffles

Suspended Acoustic Ceiling Baffles

1. Application of Suspended Acoustic Ceiling Baffles

It is widely used in large indoor gymnasiums, badminton halls, clubs, swimming pools, noisy factories, and also in radio and television studios, studios, schools, grand theaters, libraries, auditoriums, multi-purpose halls, auditoriums and Concert halls and other places with high requirements for sound quality.

2. Number of suspensions

The number of Suspended Acoustic Ceiling Baffles should be calculated and determined according to the sound absorption characteristics of the sound absorber and the increased sound absorption required to reduce indoor noise (or control the reverberation time). When the plate-shaped space sound-absorbing body is used in the design, if the total area of the sound-absorbing body reaches 30-40% of the roof area of the building, the sound-absorbing effect of the plate-shaped Suspended Acoustic Ceiling Baffles can reach the best value.

In practical engineering, in order to meet the requirements of reducing noise or controlling reverberation time, the optimal proportion of the total area of space sound absorbers to the top area of the building is 40-50%; if the number of space sound absorbers continues to increase, on the contrary, it will affect the overall sound absorption performance of the Suspended Acoustic Ceiling Baffles, resulting in a waste of funds.

  3. Suspension method

Suspended Acoustic Ceiling Bafflesare generally suspended on the top of the building space, and most of them are suspended from the ceiling. The sound-absorbing body in the plate space can be suspended horizontally or vertically, or can be combined horizontally and vertically. Under the same total area, the noise reduction effect is basically the same. The height from the ceiling of the horizontally suspended plate-shaped space sound absorber is generally about 1/5 to 1/7 of the room's net height. Under normal circumstances, considering the difficulty of construction, the space sound absorber is suspended on the steel frame at the top of the building. Below, its height will just be about 1/5 to 1/7 of the clear height of the room, which meets the requirements of sound-absorbing decoration; if the indoor environmental conditions permit, it can be hung lower and closer to the sound source. In order to improve the architectural decoration effect of the Suspended Acoustic Ceiling Baffles, the form, color and suspension method of the space sound absorber should be comprehensively considered. If the space sound-absorbing body is suspended in a certain artistic pattern and cooperates with lighting, lighting, lighting and architectural decoration, the overall effect will be better.
